Yes, congrats to the winners as well.

Dumb question here but were those specific trophies or plaques from Carlisle just for judging? The Carlisle event people told me they were handing out special A12 plaques to all those that attended with their A12's and was wondering how they turned out, with the Registry logo and all.

That could not have been easy to pick the Top 3 in each class.
It would be like choosing your favourite kid.
Congrats to the guys who won! I would have had a large tie for first Smiley

The plaques looked great Tim! Dave, Frank and I tried handing out as many as we could in person and tried thanking everyone who brought a car, but some guys were hard to find. Good thing we started handing them out on Friday.
I am sure one the guys will be able to take a picture of it for you with their car.

This may be a very dumb question, but what did I get second for. I never entered my car in any judging so I don't know what I got it for. I did get a really nice plaque that Dave gave me, is that it ?

I know there was some participant voting, if you entered a car you should have gotten a ballot.
David, maybe your car won the "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" award.  Grin

I don't know about that because I was beside a couple FAST cars, James & Ed's cars, and they are
REALLY fast and you wouldn't think they ran that fast.
I am just Happy all went well and everyone had a Good time.
I don't care about the awards or trophy's as I had a Great time anyways.

I do want to Thank you-Dave W, Frank, Dave C, Gary and Kevin for getting things around for
this reunion. Thanks to Rick for the delivery of the shirts and poster.
If I am missing any other important people I Thank You also.
Janet and I had a Great time and meet some Really Great people there.
We were even Thankful to finally meet Mark. LOL
Mark was a Big Help on getting me to bring the car with the way it was.

Thanks All for the Fun time and I will be ready to attend the next one whenever it may be.

Dane, you will probably receive a plaque in the mail in a few weeks.  Once you registered your car, you were automatically entered

I received my award Friday. I share it with you because all of you inspired me keep plugging away to make the re-union.

I never participated in a car show other than as spectator. I never got a trophy for anything, even back-in-a-day when I was racing...always ran for the money (trophies don't fit in the gas tank). This was the first time the car was even out of the driveway other than to paint and get alignment. So second place is not only a suprise, but is preceded by a number of firsts.

Thanks to all for sharing information that has gotten the car this far.

Sweet trophy Jim, I'm sure that is just the icing on the cake for making the long haul to the show.

Congrats, Jim Wink

What a great story in gettting after the car to finish for the reunion after owning it for so many years. I enjoy driving my own so much I am not sure I would be content(not that you were) with having it off the road for the time it would take to restore it.

The Mighty Mopar Legacy

They once roamed the face of the North American continent in great numbers. They were awesome, powerful beasts, shaking the earth beneath them. While they existed, they were feared by the weak. Their stay on this planet was brief - less than two decades. They are gone now - extinct. A few remain, like massive metal dinasaurs. They were the Mighty Mopars, and we will never see their like again.
