Incredible, congratulations Ed.
I'm assuming the black Road Runner. Will it be retired from FAST duty now that it's into the 10's?

Way to go, Ed.  That had to be a very satisfying pass.  Was he able to make a few consecutive 10 sec passes?  What a way to represent the lift-off crowd.

Congrats to Ed and everyone who helped make that possible  Smiley

Can you imagine what the full blown racers must think when they see that stocker Wink run those times on bias ply tires Cool

Dave the car will be retired this year as soon as the Maxie has the bugs worked out. I am not sure if I will start to restore it right away or wait to see if it needs to be called back to duty.

You know the car as been a race car a lot longer then it's been a show car!  Smiley

The Road Runner is beautiful as is. Might need to keep it as a backup if James' car blows the trans out again. Shocked
Was it a racecar before Troy restored it?
It will be something to see how your Maxie runs too.

Without all the help from everyone this could have never happened.  Mike B never gives up even when I thought we where as far as it would go, He finds a little more!

James is really kicking butt with the 4spd car his time is up in the ranks now with all the big boys! (Very Proud). We are building a F/S stick car for my youngest son Eddie for 2010

VERY COOL, leave it as a race car, the car hobby is full of show poodles but not to many that look like yours and run 10's.  I get a lot more attention from telling me my car is still raced and runs 12's than it ever gets from just being antoher A12. Wink

Fill the spare tire with bags of lead shot, then refill with air, very old trick in "Pure Stock" racing.

GREAT job Ed. I am truly impressed. You are almost as quick as my Bracket car. I am bragging on your car, not mine. If I had your engine in my Dart, it would go low to mid 10's. I hope that you keep it race ready, just in case.

Never seen the car, but in my opinion cars are like people; It's the wear and scares which give it caracter- do not ruin it...

Maryland was a washout but we may try to do something there in the spring? The track looks really nice.

Believe it or not they still have tread! Tried a different converter and I think it help? I also had a fuel delivery problem that was hurting me on the big end. Simple thing but it had me fooled for quite a few races.

I got about half way there to see you guys and it started raining. Harry told me you were packing it up so I turned around. It was dry all afternoon about 40 miles West of MIR. I really hated not catching up to everyone! undecided
