IIRC, you bought this without a motor and trans didn't you?  Do you have something lined up?

It comes with the original block which is getting a rebuild, also comes with a transmission which are not matching to the car but it is an 18 spline and a nice  iron bellhousing. Intake and carbs are newer Mopar Performance. I still havnt picked any of this stuff up yet.

Engine bay

Tim, that's supposed to have an engine in there. Will make the car go fast. Has 3 carbs on it! Grin

So that's what an engine bay looks like without 40 years of abuse.  Smiley

Looks great, and it'll really set off that Mustard color with an orange motor. You're fortunate to have an original block. Keep the pics coming. Thanks.

Since you're going to be snowbound for most of the next week, you'll have lots of time to work on yours...in between digging out! Likewise on this end.

Coop I put your Tic Tock Tac in my cluster and used an original clock knob I had, it looks great. Thanks again! Next I'm going to drop the bucks and get the BE/A dash bezel set, mine are hand painted silver, not for this car.

Yeah I thought of that with the snow, hope its not to bad, I have to work to pay for all this Bee resto. Last thing you guys in the east need is more snow. I worked on my front seat tonight. It looks great but whoever did them didnt put the headrest hardware in, could even screw the chrome bezels on. Sooo I had to remove the cover and install hardware I got from another bench, re hog ring and all. The other side should go much quicker now that I know how its done. Hope to finish the other headrest and install the carpet tomorrow. Lots of things need correction on my car, for example the rear upper door panels were painted satin black, which means I have to remove the lower panels and everthing to get them out and paint gloss blk, you get the picture but in the end it will be well worth it. Good thing I like working on these cars. I'm thinking of a new YO main dash wiring harness as well, what sa you guys?

Taking my interior to a better level so desided to remove and redo whats there. After closer inspection, things like pedals, E brake, steering column, etc I am going to refinish. I ordered a bunch of new stuff like chrome arm rest bases, dash wiring harness which looks great other  than a few connectors are slightly different but you never see them. Got a new horn pad from Mitchil Motors for under 70 bucks and it looks just like an original except its soft like an original was 40 years ago.

Did you get YO's 20% discount? I buy all my stuff from Scott at Rooney's. He even gets the M&H wire harnesses from YO and sells them less than YO does with their discount! Rooney's is in Evansville, IN. They are somewhat of a spinoff of Fellwock's. I think Scott can pretty much get you anything and save you some decent George Washington's. Tell him John Dallain refered you. For example, I got date coded plug wires for my 340 for under $60. I bought $500 worth of body gaskets, nuts, bolts, sumvisor tips, door locks and wires, to name some of the stuff, from Scott that would have cost me $650 anywhere else. They are the same or better parts. They specialize in Mopar restoration parts. Rooneysparts@yahoo.com (812-402-9399). I recommend it to all forum members.

Yep I used the moparts15 code plus ordered over a grand worth so got another 10% off for a total of 25% off from YO. If you cherry pick, not everything is way overpriced with them. Also got some stuff from Vans and Dales Cuda Shop and that Frank Mitchel horn pad. Every dollar saved helps since it all adds up so quick. Didnt know about that place in Evansville, thanks for the heads up. Bruce Somer in CA may have a date coded wiper motor for me already restored, I keep forgetting to follow up with him.
